Really its not a brake line? I notice a leak "not dripping" but it doesn't smell like fuel
You could trace it back to see where it's going. More context such as general location would be helpful.
But I would trust Gnob, he really knows his stuff. Besides I've never seen brake lines run that way.

Looks like it is below passenger seat based on the torsion bar adjuster in the pic. I don't remember which lines were clamped to the frame and which were to the body. Not too hard to get under there and follow them.

Yeah its under passenger seat. I'll get down there and follow them.

Definitely fuel/evap - had a leak/repair in that spot last month

Funny you mention the smell. I was baffled as to what those lines were at first - because of the smell and the look/feel of whatever was coming off the line(s). It smelled more like gear oil... but that made no sense - our trucks don't have "gear oil lines."

It turned out to be both. There was a fuel AND a leak from the t-case at the output flange - gear oil traveling up the shaft splines, past the flange and slinging out - right here:

Crawl under there and see if the t-case is leaking. The good news is, it's not a difficult/expensive fix.

How did you end up fixing it

uhh... dropped it off at ACC Garage. But the tech said it came down to cleaning the splines and flange adding some RTV.
