We’re currently planning a 3 week road trip to Wyoming for June and July and we’re skipping Yellowstone all together because it’s the tourist season. It’s unfortunate but our 5 and 6 year olds aren’t old enough to hike far enough into the back country to avoid the idiocy around the paved roads.Typical.
I always get a kick out of the city folk in Yellowstone backing up traffic for a mile because of a coyote. There is a pack in my area that has a real bad habit of collecting outside my bedroom window at 3 AM to start yelling at each other. God, what a racket! Happens about once a month.
It is sad that Cades Cove has essentially turned itself into a parking lot. Smoky Mountain NP is the most visited NP in the country though. I have found it is much quieter down Robinsville way in the Snowbird Mountains. Some very nice campgrounds in that area.
Like them. These are my first victory product... won't be my last.Installed @victory4X4 rear headrest screen delete plates. My wife said I will have to reinstall the screens when we have grandkids.

I have an 08 with the tan interior. It’s not nearly as light as the 13+ beige. I’m having a hard time deciding what color would look best. I have kids and a dog so a bit worried the light Khaki would just get dirty quick. I kinda like the grey color but not sure how that’d look. Thoughts? Pics?I got them from Equipt Outfitters Toyota Land Cruiser 200 Series Seat Covers - https://www.equipt1.com/collections/escape-gear-seat-covers/products/toyota-land-cruiser-200-series-seat-covers
I acquired these because the quality is top notch. They take the better part of an hour to install, perhaps a bit more. I looked at other options around but these ticked all the boxes for me.
What are all of the different components you have there?Finished installing the major components of my interior navigation set-up. Don't really need it for the parking lot, but you get the idea. My outlets installed on the Gamiviti plate are wired to my house batteries so they are on all the time. My cell phone attaches to the scosche mounts on the left when not taking selfies of LeToya.

Any plans to do anything with those slots? I'm tempted to do this, but I kind of want to put something aftermarket there as a screen replacement.Installed @victory4X4 rear headrest screen delete plates. My wife said I will have to reinstall the screens when we have grandkids.

After some use, I hope you'll do a review on them. I've been following ADGU for a long time and these are my number one thing I want on my LX. Just need to save up a bit longer. Did you go with the black ones? Does the black stuff seem like it's super durable?Met Andy Jacobson of YotaMD & Air Down Gear Up last year to upgrade the keys on my 100 series.
We are skiing in Breck so I scheduled time today for them to install their drawers & sleeping platform in my 2021 LC after reading all the reviews & comments on IH8MUD.
Couldn’t be happier with the drawers & install. I own the ARB drawer for my 392 Wrangler, and even had custom drawers & sleeping platform made for my 100 series and neither are on the same level. The ARB are by far the worst of the 3.
Can’t wait to try out the ADGU sleeping platform. Thanks guys for great work. I will post a more in-depth review when I get back home.

Thanks. I ended up calling Equipt, SUPER helpful as always. He looked up my specific color combo of the 08 interior and he actually recommended the charcoal grey tough canvas, as he said it was the closest match to the other non-tan parts of my interior and trim. He said the regular grey cotton was too light and wouldn't match anything. So I just went ahead an ordered the charcoal grey tough canvas. Give the interior a new look. 08 has only heated seats, no cooled seats. He said the tough canvas works just as good with heat....just not with cooled seats. The light Khaki is also only available custom order where as the 2 grey's they have in stock so that also made my mind up for me too.I also have kids. I'm surprised more cabinetry is not made from nomex cored panels rather than plywood. The cored panels are using in airplane and boat interiors.I believe that configuration is under 185 all in. The Richlite adds around 40 lbs and the tables add something like 8 lbs each. If you opt for our standard birch with no tables you're closer to 130.
We've gone to extensive lengths to make the lightest system possible for any given configuration. Lots of carbon fiber nylon (very strong, industrial 3D printed parts) and aluminum in everything we do.

That's cool stuff! I've deep dived the carbon fiber honeycomb and some aluminum panels, but have not come across the nomex core. From what I understand, the challenge with that stuff for our use case is that we do a lot of depth cuts. We recess hardware within the panel. We need a panel that will take the "bite" of a threaded insert. We need something that will allows us to recess and press fit a trim piece of aluminum. I don't get the impression that's a simple thing with the honeycomb panels. For aircraft use I bet there's a lot of adhesive bonding. For boats, I envision a lot of simple flat panels.I'm surprised more cabinetry is not made from nomex cored panels rather than plywood. The cored panels are using in airplane and boat interiors.
The honeycomb is great for flooring. Saved me a ton of weight when remodeling a boat a few years ago but you are absolutely correct. Outside of direct pressure on the panel surface as in the case of flooring or a wall, the material fails. The cores being hallow in most respects don't allow for screws to bite and once the surface coat is penetrated the material can become brittle. Glue and laminating the joints was the only way I found to make connections or joints. It is phenomenal material in the right application though. That's cool stuff! If there's a market for it, we're all about a challenge!
