Was having a weird radio reception issue on the 80. Found the 6mm mounting bolt on the antenna was stripped and had backed out. Simple fix. Big results.

So nice when it is an easy fix!

Not what I did, but what I picked up...I added this to my fleet:

...so a lot of good work a head of me.

I started working on a design for some overhead storage for the 40. The plan is to have lockable storage, courtesy lights, grab handles, and a replaceable radio panel that can be easily replaced as my radio situation evolves. It'll be a fancier version of the overhead shelves that are fairly common in 40s.

Those do look good, I especially like the blue and grey combo!

Broke into storage to get my 40 over to Overland Cruisers for a spa day tomorrow... And when I say broke into I literally mean broke into... Key snapped off in the lock and then things got kind of ugly

This is either legit or you're a terrible thief.
How about legit and a terrible thief at the same time... Definitely not my day job stealing s#$%. I did get the 40 out.

I WON

This may be a sign that you have a problem. 🤣

Well considering that last month I had to drill out the wife's 80's ignition cylinder and then this today I would agree that being we're less than 2 months into the year and I've had to do this twice I deduce that this year is going to be a major headache if the trend continues... Lets hope not

Well, when I do projects with the kids and something goes wrong early in the process I always say, “Well, at least we got that over with. The rest should just fall into place.” So, hopefully you got murphy’s law out of the way early for 2022. 🍻

you can defeat these locks by drilling one smol hole YSYN

I drilled it and then stuff fell in that prevented the bolt from rotating so I then had to cut the face apart to get all that out of the way

@REZARF west coast bay area 🤢🤮

Installed Total Chaos Bed Stiffeners today. Pics tomorrow.

Pulled the 4runner out of storage for the first time in 6 months. Started up on the first try no issues

Left Polly's 80 behind in storage while we went and ran a super important errand at mountains walking... It decided that it wanted to mark it's territory in the 4runners stall, typical land cruiser

Struck out on buying an LX470 tonight. I was about halfway there when the seller let me know it had sold. So that was a bummer. If someone here got it, I hope it's as good as it looked and I hope you get caught at far more red lights than is convenient.
