What else to do while putting in a lift?

That was my thought too. I'm starting to think the best course of action is to bite the bullet and just replace all the major suspension/steering components. The only thing I'm concerned about is if everything is replaced at once and there's a issue it's going to be hard to narrow down where it's coming from...

As far as steering goes, it's pretty much just the tie rod ends. The only other thing in the mix is the steering box. If yours isn't leaking, then you can adjust it to tighten up the response. OK, you can do that if it IS leaking, but fixing the leaking is probably higher priority.

The bushings in the shackles will affect steering if they are perished, but those will get replaced when you lift.
