early 90's tlca had a readers ride section...were one or two cruisers were fetured. I used to love seeing what others had when i was starting out. Also how about the weird and obscure land cruiser pics page? Just throwing out some ideas...take it as you will.

Second the Reader's Rides Return. Pretty much all the newstand 4x rags have a RR section, so it's kind of ironic that ours, which is even more focused, kind of got away from that.

I'm sure this has come up before, and there's prolly a few things that we aren't considering that would have to be worked out. First is space. As someone who contributes regularly, I know that space is pretty much ALWAYS at a premium in TT, and there hasn't been room to add another dedicated column for a while.:frown: A choice would therefore have to be made to cut back on something else, or to increase the budget to cover adding more pages to the mag.

The second thing would be coverage. In the early 90's when we had the rides before, the choices of models to choose from were more limited. Now, there are SO MANY different models that our collective membership owns, that if you didn't play the PC game of making sure there was balanced representation of ALL the different models, then SOMEBODY would start whining about bias!

And if there was a picture of a Lexus.............................;p

Could be a can of worms.

Still, I would like to see it.:)

i dont care to see any non-cruiser stuff

Like for instance the toyoda military FQ series trucks...?...;)

yes, more history, rarities, unobtainium, oddities, etc.... maybe a "what is this part" with a cheap prize to the winner.

It was fun to watch here though. I like it when Woody gets the good stuff too.

how about pics of covers from 10/20/30 yrs ago? or recycle an old article from 20 or 30yrs ago.

More difficult than it sounds for a number of reasons. I'm going to pursue it as best I can once the history articles conclude though.

I am a lil late on this but, I love trail reports. Its always the first thing I read. I love to hear who broke what and where they where at. I dont get out wheeling as much as I want to because of the long hauls from my location, and its just great ready about other peoples time on the trail.

Any Land Cruiser or TLCA history would be great, thanks

FYI; pictures of Land Cruisers and mullets, afros, bell bottoms or disco cheese are always nice for a few good laughs.
