What do you carry in your 80 for Repairs & Recovery?

Here is a little of what I carry in the 80 for recovery and repair. I am still adding some basics but working on parts that I should have. Please let me know if you suggest something.

I take this rig on ten day off grid journeys and they don't have a Walmart out there. Plus I have to carry stuff for people that don't plan

I have RTV and clamps but need to add hoses.

I carried a bunch of stuff, got tired of the bulk/weight, so put it on a diet. Then the truck was broken in to, and it was all stolen. So now carry three Harbor Freight bags: One has tools, only what is necessary, no 11, 13, 15mm, etc. The next bag has spares, misc hose, clamps, zip-ties, relays, wire stuff, etc. The last one has recovery stuff. In hundreds of trail days, it has worked, never needed more.

These are cheap Husky hand tools I bought just for overlanding.

Chock(s)? Duct tape? small board for jacking (the car) on soft ground.

Switch out the carpenter's hammer for a ball/peen hammer.

Edit: FSM or relevant pages or electronic; telescoping magnet-thing

Ya I keep most of this in the Garage and put on in for big trips.

My problem is; was out on Saturday, will be on Tuesday and Saturday.....

My rig doesn't fly or float very well, so almost all of our trips are over land.

Im just putting it out there. Sometimes recovery isn’t only a vehicle recovery. It’s just a good thing to carry especially if this lad is 10 days off the grid.

I carry a 6.8SPCII as well.

So, there is a difference between getting hurt when out for the day or camping for 10 days? IMHO, if you are away from services, the risk is the same.
