Nice views. What roof rack is that?
Thanks!

A home brew 80/20 extrusion type rack. Works well for my needs. And it’s full length for the 6.5’ bed tundra, something I couldn’t find anywhere else.

Update on my scratched wheels. Costco tech basically said to go get 3 quotes for repair... I don't think they want to replace the wheels but I asked if there was another option and they said they could escalate to insurance. I said let's do it. I feel like a bit of a dick but I'm holding strong as a fix isn't really reasonable in my opinion. How long am I to be without my wheels/tires while the shop fixes them, is the fix going to be satisfactory? I have a hard time pushing on this but I keep reminding myself they were pretty much in perfect condition before they went in. Should I just accept the fix or go full Karen on them?

Nope don't accept just the fix. Same thing happened to my brand new scs ray10s. Manager scratched the s*** out of two. I said I was going to escalate it to corporate and he quietly refunded me for two wheels($700) and got them fix on his dime. Win Win

That's what Im steering it towards. We'll see what insurance says. A small part of me thinks he hasn't actually submitted anything and is trying to deal with this on his own.

Ripped her around a bit in the dirt and mud

I installed some TJM springs to replace the stock 80 series springs and 2” spacers. They’re for an 80 and provide a total of 4” of lift on the tree. I’ve only put about 50ish miles on them but they seem smoother than what was in there. We’ll see how they do off road next weekend

I also witnessed someone living the Sequoia life.

Nothing wrong with that. I’d love a front bench seat truck. More room for activities 😉 🤣

Haha accurate.

However bench seat tundras only got the little fuel tank. Not a huge deal as there are aftermarket options.

My family will outgrow my currently tundra in February.

I’ve looked at a lot of options.

Ram is about the only other one I’m semi interested in.

I looked at a tundra with a bench seat but walked away since I wanted the 38 gallon tank. The new rams interior is amazing.

One thing I don’t like about the ram is how tall they sit. Ive had talk trucks basically forever. Having to crawl in the truck to place a little one in the car seat and buckle gets old.

The tundra I can currently react the rear center seat from the outside.

Although I’m sure your tundra that’s different 😂

😂 my kids are old enough to use the rock sliders to climb in by themselves. I did take the side steps off the 4runner for a day before installing the rock sliders and wife fell out twice 🤣

My buddy added a factory 38 gallon tank to his 2014 limited pretty easily from what he told me.
