BTW, how much were the 295/70R18's at Costco? Looking at them myself for my 2010 Tundra.

Agreed, I hate to get people in s*** but this almost seems intentional and they devalued my wheels if I ever wanted to sell them. They are 18" evocorse dakarzero, way over our budget back when we bought them but there arent many options at that offset. The tires were $467 Canadian loonies each but I think bfg is running a mail in rebate which started right after we bough them. What wheels do you have? What would be replacement cost? That's where I would start, especially with Costco. Don't wait around
at the store level. Find an email for upper management and go there. Nothing less than new wheels here. Repair, my ass.
Good luck, keep us posted.
From what I've read on another forum, don't remove that resonator..
I’m from out west. So speak the same money language. That’s a lot of loonies! Nice wheels.Agreed, I hate to get people in s*** but this almost seems intentional and they devalued my wheels if I ever wanted to sell them. +45. Each wheel is what I just cant understand.I’m from out west. So speak the same money language. That’s a lot of loonies! Nice wheels.
It’s someone who didn’t care about your wheels, after the first I could see them calling you and saying
there was an issue. But it’s pure stupid to hit each wheel and not care, cause I can guarantee you whoever did it, knew it.
BTW, what is the offset?
There was something sticking out on the machine, and those things spin fast. Or it occurred when he was running the bead+45. Each wheel is what I just cant understand.
Nice SuperZeros!Got out to the desert to test out my King 3.0s. Still gotta dial them in but I'm impressed
I'm my case - Michelin defender ms2, it was just over $1400 total. No sales tax in my state. I wouldn't buy them there in the lower 48 where you can find a lot of alternatives with free shipping. In Alaska it's the only place I know of that has similar prices to the lower 48. The other tire shops were right at $2,000 for the same tires.BTW, how much were the 295/70R18's at Costco? Nice SuperZeros!
Nice views. What roof rack is that?Road trip from NM to Puerto Peñasco, stopped at Saguaro NP.

Sorry to hear that. It's not what you'd expect from Toyota. I hope things get sorted out quickly. There seems to be a lot of teething issues with the new models. The most common I've heard is with windows rattling in the Tundra. I hoped most would be worked out by the release of the Sequoias. I hope the dealer is treating you well.I scheduled the 5th dealership visit for my 2024 Sequoia today. The weatherstripping on the driver side door is peeling away, causing some added wind noise and what sounds like loose padding while driving. In the same service request, I also asked for a reflash of the infotainment software. About once per week my Sequoia refuses to pair to Carplay, even after a phone reboot. I am required to pull over and restart the car to get the system to sync again.
I'm getting really annoyed by this vehicle, it is not the experience I had with the 2012 4Runner that I bought new and traded for the Sequoia.
Before anyone asks, the other items were:
- Intercooler hose decided it hated life and started to leak pink fluid at around 800 miles in
- Service visit for 2 recall items, one of which was the transmission recall where vehicles would not stay in park
- Broken volume knob, required a service visit and an hour of tech time to install
- Lift gate was misaligned from the factory, causing a grinding sound and rubbed the paint off the top driver side about 1/2" x 1". This took a week to fix.
- New weatherstripping issue

I remember my 2015 4R had issues with phone connection on and off for the first year or two before a software update finally resolved it. No carplay on that one, but it felt like it took forever to get the updates pushed out. It was pretty much flawless as far as assembly though. I had them look at it when I had it in for the first oil change for a rear headrest that was rattling. They took it off and a .22LR shell fell out. I guess somehow one had fallen down into the hole in where the mounting posts go into the head rest and lodged in there where it rattled. User error. I felt like an idiot for not being able to shake it out myself. hah
I think I could be spoiled from Toyota as well. I’ve driven 2, 2024 Land Cruisers. The fit and finish of the Japanese build LC’s is much better than the American built Sequoia. My Sequoia has pretty much the same style plastics, but on the LC everything is solid and without flex.I've had the following issues on a 2023 (~25k miles):
Now, I was complaining about this to a group of coworkers and while it is significantly more issues in 25k miles than I have had on 4 other Lexus/Toyota vehicles, it is less or equivalent to the issues on most of their large Texas-sized SUVs. I know it is a relatively small sample size, and maybe I have been spoiled by Toyota reliability previously to this, but that seems unacceptable. The only parts unique to the Sequoia are the tow hitch cover and the pinch sensor. None of the other parts should fail given the massive production volumes they achieve with Tundra lines.
- Fuel tank pressure sensor failure causing "Please close fuel door" alert to always be present - 3 visits, 1st to say yes we agree you are receiving the error and order a replacement fuel cap (since they didn't have any in stock and couldn't come up with another way to test like a bag over the fill tube), 2nd to admit that the fuel cap which had a quite obviously intact sealing ring and no visible issues was working fine and to order more parts, 3rd to drop the entire fuel tank and replace the whole fill nozzle assembly.
- Rear hatch left pinch sensor failure making me unable to close the trunk - they fixed "loose wires" and it has already happened again twice since but every time I tap the sensor and then it closes afterward. If it gets worse that will be another visit
- Broken volume knob, not worth an hour of driving and an hour of tech time, so I bought a replacement metal one that looked cooler.
- 2 recalls, 1 the transmission and 1 the tow hitch cover which they didn't have the remedy part in stock to solve.
I still love my Sequoia, and I still can't find anything I would rather have in the current lineup and for my current needs, but if there was anything else that offered the same combination of tow/ offroad/ 7 pax/ "reliability", I would be getting it.
This!Wish toyota would build them like back in the days (80s & 90s) era. Now quality is taking a back seat to $$$
