Nice thread. I took my 08 on its first adventures over the last 2 weeks. We went camping up a little mountain in upstate NY. Most of the dirt trails were tame but we had to climb up and down some wooded paths to get to camp. My buddy had to widen with a chainsaw for me to get through some of the areas. Last night we had dinner at my local beach.

I took Gozer to the Jemez Mountains in New Mexico. Kids slept in the tent, me, the husband and the chihuahua slept in the car.

Contemplating lighting for the topper to help with camp/work site illumination. Any ideas are welcome.

Replaced the Bilstein 4600 TRD factory shocks and struts with Bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks and struts. Rake is gone from truck and not a moment too soon. The old struts were wearing on the bottom control arm (metal on metal) because the bushings were shot. Rattle canned primer and off we go.

Looks awesome. What roof rack is that?
That is the front wind deflector from a Prinsu rack for the Tundra, mated to side rails from a Sherpa rack intended for the first gen Sequoia. It took a bit of cutting grinding and some fabrication of roof mounts. More work that I had planned but it came out awesome. There is an ARB awning mounted on the far side.

To clarify, both Prinsu and Sherpa make a high quality product. All modifications needed were because I purchased a rack intended for a different vehicle. I felt bad cutting on their rack because it was so nice to begin with. It is just that the roof lines and mount hole spacing on the 1st gen sequoia is very different from the second gen. In retrospect the LC 200 rack might have been closer to the roof profile.
