Friday I picked up some new shoes for The Gecko (only 2). Brand new, 0 mile SX's, for about half price!
Saturday at John's shop I guaranteed my spot at the front of the pack on future night runs... In other words, I installed an LED light bar. The Hella lights on the front stuck out too far and kept getting broken off.
Lastly, we built a battery tray since mine came loose on 16 and shorted out on the throttle body. Miraculously, not only did the truck not catch on fire and burn to the ground, but the only thing that occurred was about 1/3 of the lead of the battery cable end melted off and dripped all over some wires and the frame. 16 was a killer on Saturday!

fixed my busted up airbox, installed trans cooler and made some headway on the aux cooling fan.
Worked on the driver's side seat mount.

Ball joints and bearings on a Dana 44 for the first time ever. Took FOREVER to do one side since I'd never done one before and because I don't have all the special tools needed. Ultimately a success though. Maybe I can actually get this thing aligned now!
Got bored so I built a camping table. Legs unscrew & clamp to bottom.
