I saw a police video of a guy under a car when it fell. He was what they call DRT. (dead right there)
Never crawl under a car that is not properly supported!!! Just not worth it.

Drove Scott's 40 down the road for the first time in about 9 months.
Engine runs great...Just have to do skid plates and license plate bracket. But Scott can do that.
Should be at the N. meets S. in Dec.

Scott was going to drive it home tonight, but the temp. sending unit went out.
We'll get a new one tomorrow.

:crybaby: no action shots. It was sunday and a small fast and capable group. Most the cameras had gone home by now. Its this same line here, guess the price to pay to follow allen and ramon :steer:

I cringed every time Ramon slammed that poor little 40 up and down on those rocks....gave it skinny pedal and looked like it was going to flop...or started hopping the front end to get traction. Damn it was fun to watch...but more fun knowing it was not my truck getting banged.....something is to be said for trail rig brought on a trailer for comfort and losing your URE Inhibitions.:steer::hillbilly:

You saying I need a trailer??? :D

btw he walked that sluice and kodak first try with not even a bit of wheelspin on sunday

Got the swaybar off and drop bracket and arb straightened, the bolt however is soaking in PB and waiting for me and an ezout tomorrow.

oh and secured another used tank .....

tried to swap the bumpers on the 45 and 55 but found out the frame rails are different dimensions and bolt pattern is nowhere near close to the same..

I had a pressure test done on the 62s cooling system yesterday to find a leak that has been going on for a while. Everything held pressure fine. Went home and replaced as many hose clamps as I could get to before the rains came (my street looked like a river around 11pm). Topped off the coolant and burped the system. We'll see if it holds. If it doesn't, any suggestions on where to look next?

Send a sample of your oil to Blackstone Labs and have them test it.

So let's say there is a problem with the oil...Have I not seen any problems with the engine because I change the oil so frequently? Just trying to get my brain wrapped around what could be going on. All that being said, it my be fixed now with the new hose clamps. It will take a week or so to judge that.

Did they pressure check the radiator cap? When I was having problems it was seeping from one of the end caps, and it would evaporate before you could see it, but you could smell it. Also, check your heater cores... both of them.
