I just drove mine and had fun :)

Mines the red one, my friend has the silver one on 46" MT

I'm in Texas, in shorts, tshirt, and sandals, and had to run my AC on the way home tonight at midnight... no one around here finds this normal, but that picture is exactly my idea of perfect country and weather. That pic makes me jealous!

Woke up yesterday morning to my wife screaming that the garage was on fire. It was already to far gone to do anything but watch it burn. Lost my HDJ81, the parts truck, my snowmobile, and the wife's car that was in the driveway, and everything inside. Probably the worst day of my life

We are in a hotel for now due to smoke in the house. Not sure where I'll go from here. Thankfully everyone is OK, and the house was saved. Fire investigator feels it started in my truck, but I have no clue how that could be.

Not the greatest anniversary we've celebrated to date.

:frown:

What about during the week?

It's always fun to use the 80 for work! Here we are skidding trees out of a creek bed, havin a dirty fun time!

Looks like Entrada.

I know it's the furthest point from the weekend... But finally removed the stock running boards tonight. Loving the 30 extra hp, aerodynamic advantage, and extra chick magnetness of the new look!

Now just thinking of excuses for their removal when I see the Gf this weekend :)

Sent from that Steve Jobs thing in my pocket.

Installed this last night (it's almost the weekend right?). Blue Sea 5029 auxiliary fuse block. This thing is NICE! Used a lumber tie-plate from Lowe's and attached it to the charcoal canister bracket. Now to clean up all the wiring! It's gonna be nice to not have all these wires hanging off the battery terminals.

What started out as a simple "replace the rear pads" on my kid's LC, turned out to be a small nightmare on a sunny and clear Saturday afternoon.

He wore the pad down to the backing plate... the pad backing plate sheared off and dropped down between the rotor and the dust shield...which left the piston to do much of the stopping power - about a quarter of an inch worth...ouch.
:

Same thing just happened on the '94 I just bought. I briefly heard what I assume was the dead pad scraping the rotor then nothing for a few days (the noise stopped as I left the parts store!). I took off the wheel and only found one pad until I removed the rotor. Here's the carnage.
Changing pads, rotors and new parking brake junk today.

Dang, what'r you going through 80s so quick for? :)

Bought a new to me 80. 1991 ARB locked, decent shape but will be in news of some serious baselining. Some basic repairs are needed, all fluids need to be changed, already have a new MT tube bumper for the front.

Installed a Supercharger.

Got the job done with an 861/862 suspension upgrade and E rated 285's, but looking forward to pulling the hills with the extra torque. While it's still not an ideal tow rig, I would strongly disagree with those who say it can't handle a decent size load.

The lake was Stumpy Meadows Lake. We drove from Georgetown, East on Wentworth Springs Rd. towards Tahoe. Lots of snow and lots of fun.

Nice work. Enjoy the newly found power! :)
