Found a 92 pathfinder swing out tire carrier and thought it would look better on a land cruiser.

Not to bad for 20$ I feel like it sits alittle low but still works for keeping the back less cluttered. Next is fuel can and mount the high lift.

1. Flushed the coolant system on the 62. Took 10 gallons worth of flushing before the water ran clear. Heat blasts inferno hot now (both frnt and rear).
2. Replaced drivers seat cover and rear seat cover with passenger covers purchased on ebay.
3. shampoo'd interior of both rigs

That's awesome! I can't believe nobody ever thought of that. Did you use some sort of nut-sert on the body where you attached it to give a little more strength, or did you just use self-tapping screws?

Hi guys, yeah the glass set me back about an extra hundy plus, over reevesi quote. Cargo glass is also new but I installed those earlier this year.I've had the glass sitting in my bed room for over 4 months. The old glass just had so many scratches and with the tint, it stood out and bugged the hell outta me. My weather stripping is still brand new and now I can defrost the glass. Cheers

Played in the snow on Christmas morning, sorry if it makes you dizzy :)

How'd you attach? I repositioned the tire mount up and angled mine.

I drilled into the body and bolted it in with some half dollar sized washers. It holds the tire and all 220lbs of me when it's swung out. It didn't fit perfect so I added some washers on the outside to fill the gap till I think of something more permanent. I like the higher position and angle you have that looks great.

But a picture is worth a thousand words right

The gate won't drop all the way so I'm gonna cut the mount alittle to see if I can clear it.

Can you post some pictures of the final finished product??????? Jason
Here is the end results!
Unfortunately the holes didn't line up like the original speakers did!
So I used one mount from speaker on too the original hole and drilled out a hole for the other three tabs.

Didn't do install these speakers this weekend, but thought it might be relevant.
I have 5.25 kicker coaxial set in my hj60. They are small and fits with little effort.
In my hj61 I got a kicker Rs65.2 6.5 component set with its own tweeter and filter. These are enormous and require a spacer as they can handle 100w rms each all day long.
They might look a bit silly, but they give great sound, deep enough bass and really aren't in the way.
