MBP coming to Dallas also, I'm set up to get the tune. Hopefully it doesn't conflict with work, otherwise ill be burning a sick day. . He pops in for a day and loads as many as he can, pretty cool gig.Yesterday I re-mounted my Diode Dynamics SSC2 Pro fog lights into my factory housings after realizing the driver and passenger pods were not oriented the same. Driver was projecting light wayyy out to the left while passenger was mostly straight.
Today I installed a few things on the front KDSS system:
My bushings were absolutely SHOT so I figured I may as well go all out. The install was easy in concept, but ended up being a pain as most things relating to KDSS are. Once I got the passenger side done (took a couple of hours and I don't want to talk about it) the driver side was a cake walk.

I also wanted to replace the front and rear stabilizer/bar bushings but the dealership wanted nearly $300 for the 4 of them so I ordered them online this evening for $100. I don't know why I even try anymore - it's always the same story. Once I get those installed I think I'll be ready for another 245k miles.
Next up - I want to try to sell my engine skid locally and order a new one. RCI's newer design appears to have addressed the issues I had with versions 1 and 2 of their 470 KDSS skid so I am eager to get one. Moddedbyphil will be visiting the area again in a couple of weeks so I plan to get a tune from him as well.

Thankyou Red, kind of a big step.Looks great and good to see it in action!
Looking good dude!!!!Update: Filling the driver's side lca ball joint was doable, got it nice and plump until overspill. Passenger side is a no go, even holding the wheel uncomfortably to the right, that axle is just in the way. I'll have to look for said 45deg zerk as that is great advice, it would work perfect! Will do only the passenger side and then get an alignment. I also re-greased both icon uca.

Do you have info on the wrap/covering on the roof? The clearcoat on my roof is getting rough from branches and the overall tallness of the GX when wheeling. I also plan to install a rack, so wrapping the paint on the roof before that could be an option to keep it from getting worse.Resolved the high light bar issue, it now sits lower:
During a camping trip earlier this week (I went back the the outer banks hehe) I noticed metal against metal grinding sounds while braking, and during slow crawls. Walking around the car I noticed the rear left wheel had quite a bit of brake dust. Also there was a 1/2in strip of untouched surface with some rain spot rust all around the outer edge of the rotor, as though the pad never makes contact with that area. Made it 300 miles back home to take it all apart, yikes:
Suspecting it was a brake issue before the sketch drive home, I ordered rotors and pads from my tent at the camptsite, and they got delivered right on time for a weekend project. I got power stop rotors and pads.
Before:
Check out that bump stop
After:
I also painted the calipers with some black rust reformer, they look like new! I'm not usually a fan of drilled rotors, I've just run slotted rotors on my other cars so I'll see how this turns out. I did the break-in procedure and also tightened up the hand brake from under the cup holder location, it was crazy loose. It feels pretty good when braking now.
Looking good dude!!!!

I like your quad lock, which base, arm and lcharging head did you use?Installed the new Quad Lock 360 Head - 12V-24V Waterproof Wireless Charging Head. My first time trying to do anything electrical and after watching a few YouTube videos I was able to get it done in less than 20 minutes. I routed the cable under the dash and it looks pretty clean, love not having all the wires up in the front console.
I also replaced all the lights in the middle console with LED light bulbs from Super Bright LEDs. Looks awesome!!
