Calling around, every time I ask if they can do an 85 60 series (same running gear as the 70s) i get an uhhhhhh let me call you back. I have one scheduled a few weeks out for a shop in fuquay that @lumbee1 suggested. They seemed to be good with it. Other shops are like yea that is not in our computer. For the 60s and 80s folks, any other trusted shops? bonus points if its in garner or closer :) Otherwise im good on the 13th.... rant, really 2 weeks out for alignments ? Lame

The only adjustment that can be made on your truck at an alignment shop is toe. You can do that in your driveway with a measuring tape, chalk or push pins, a 12 mm wrench and a pipe wrench. Best part is it’s totally free. Worst part is it will take about 15 minutes of your time.

There really isnt much you can adjust on a 70. Just print out the specs and take it with you for toe if the shop doesn't have it in their system but toe is really something that can be done in your driveway and save yourself $100

I use whatever random place up the street from me after a round of suspension mods. I have them put it on the rack and give me the current numbers, then I adjust at home.

Useful for figuring out how much caster correction you need, or how close your measurements were for toe.

My point is that you don't need a "trusted" alignment place if you just want the current numbers.
