Atlas ain't happenin. :flipoff2: Still got to buy overpriced textbooks for next couple years.

3:1 D300 seems to fit the bill. But at ~$600 for the adapter and ~$1300 for 4:1 gears and 32 spline outputs, I'm at the price of an Orion, which is a bolt on affair for me, and 4:1 to boot. But, no front dig, offset rear output, and without being the HD, a weak front output. Too many options.

I suppose I could get a few hundred for my rebuilt tcase/adapter, to offset some costs, especially since it has a LCR4WD saver on it. ;)

Yeah, I dig the front dig!!

I plan on installing the mini truck PS,have all the components already...just a matter of time when to do the install, I also have the TBI conversion next on my list..speaking of TBI what is the most popular BRAND to go with that everybody is happy with? and how much for the complete set up?

Disk Brake conversion for the front.
Power Steering :D
Paint the Hardtop back to original green, and address the rusty state of my battered gutter.
Weld some rock sliders to replace the rotting running boards.
Valve adjustment.
OME add a leaf in the rear.

That should keep me busy. Once school is over.

Do yourself a favor and run the d300 in stock form, when you think about upgrading it, buy an atlas or stak.

Scout P/S box
4x4 Labs hysteer arms
SOA
37s or 38s
Fix rust under ambi doors, bob the front fenders
Sliders and a stinger (maybe a Metal Tech nose guard)

Taurus fan (or other electric) to get the 400 to run a little cooler.

My immediate plans are to finish pulling this motor and tear it down, get it balanced, bored, head shaved, put in an RV cam, clean up the wiring under the hood and put in a new radiator. After that it's Metaltech cage time, then sliders, making some 1/2 doors out of stockers, an orion t-case, winch, it never really ends. But i'm married with a toddler so i'll be lucky if I can get it back together running for next summer let alone do anything else. This picture was taken over a month ago, and I haven't worked on it since.
