Gonna look soo good
Thanks for the kind words... I got the last of the clear coat down this am. I still need to paint the rear flare and the tail gate. It overlaps and I did not want a line from painting it closed. Hope to have that done this weekend. I also plan to start building diffs!

Package came in for @davidp14 !!

Damn this thing is nice…almost too nice for me

To enhance my street cred for Mall Crawler status I finished the install on my winch and added a White Knuckle t-case skid plate. I think I remember the Overlander hand book said to bolt on as many accesories as one can!😁

Up next are some goodies from Nitro...

Does that help you not get stuck?!?!?

It means when I get stuck I can chill and enjoy life while I wait for one of you to pull me out. 😂

Put the new ground straps in. Battery to chassis and head to chassis. I also drained and filled the trans fluid. I was able to get about 6qts out which is surprising, most folks don't get that much from the pan. I made an unholy mess refilling it.

Took it for a drive and no change. Stopped at the brewery to drown my sorrows.
Next is fuel filter, fuel pump filter, and TPS. I'm going to replace the transfer case ground too but it looks fine.

Do the fuel filters next.... start with engine side filter. Use a long extention to get the front bolt loose on the fuel line. Look at the filter, I do not think you have to take both mounting bolts out, just one. I do not think the in tank will stop up much.

Thanks. That's my plan. I read that occasionally the sock will collapse under pressure once it gets old so I got a new one. I'm debating on getting a denso or Delphi pump and replacing that since I have to pull the whole unit anyway.

Dude! Get it to the meeting. 😛
Sooo found the problem… i left a bunch of relatively loose wires floating around the steering shaft… tow truck guy cranked the wheel, caught them up in the column and severed a bunch of stuff… halfway there to reconnecting things, but it is a huge PITA.

Gotta go to B’more for a work thing this week, but see you all in ‘25… maybe with a driving v8 80 series…

Another very important mod…but it looks way cooler with these

That sucks! I had some trouble with the boot seal when I lifted mine. It ended up being that the clamp wasn't tight enough and its been fine since I replaced it. I bet Alan the axle destroyer or Rob would know better though
