slow day at work so I'm getting lots of research done re: my studder issue. It's been a bit of a wild goose chase, but a mis-adjusted brake light switch seems like a good place to start. A triggered brake switch would cause mandatory lock-up cancellation (sudden accel loss).
additional evidence:
My brake pedal return spring randomly fell out during our potts run.
I've had people tell me I was "riding" my brakes when riding behind me.

sounds promising. I should be able to check this tonight.

White cruiser officially onto the next owner. Feels good to have it out of the driveway with some extra dough in the pocket. Man that was a fun project and drive though. Glad to make it by without getting a speeding ticket haha it was way faster than the green cruiser

So my brake light switch is definitely sticking. I messed with it some last night in the dark and when I pressed on the pedal the lights would stay on about 50% of the time. I adjusted it some but I think ill need to pull it out of the truck to adjust it properly. I may just go ahead and get a new one since i have to take it out anyway. I took the 80 for a drive with my left foot pulling the brake pedal up and right on the gas and the stumble was gone.

New brake spring?

I checked our upcoming holiday schedule for Christmas and with seeing both my parents and hanging with Lauren's we won't have weekend time available to host the discussed Christmas bonfire. Sorry about that guys.

I pulled the servo today to inspect and replace the cracked housing. I also opened up the steering box to check it. The splines stripped out of the pitman arm and had me worried.

Got my abs and trac lights figured out that popped up on the second day of fall crawl. Got lucky and it ended up being the first wheel speed sensor I changed which was the driver front. Also worked out because I got to repack the bearings that were loose and had some gross looking grease since the service 20k miles ago. Changed the caliper while I was at it. Got lucky that the 62 randomly had two 100 series calipers that were in one of the parts boxed labeled "rebuild". Knocked off the surface rust and it's working great. no torn piston boots like the one I replaced.
