While I straightened the framework on the soft top for the 40, Betsy worked on patching all the little holes from where I flopped it last summer.

While I'm waiting for my new diff housing gaskets, I have a question, FSM uses just the paper gasket, every video I have watched they use the paper gasket and sealant. What is yall's opinion?

@matzell or others are better suited to answer this than me but I tend to go the FSM route.

I have done just paper, a few dabs of rtv to hold the paper in place and all rtv. They all work. Paper is easier to remove later and seals better if you have any oil residue on the parts, can also retorque if the bolts get loose and it usually seals back. I would use paper and a little rtv if you have to, to hold it in place. The gaskets are not always flat.

Wow! How about the short side? Can you at least put one side in? Hard to tell but is the birf smaller in diameter?

I managed to get a few things done after being distracted...

Finally getting into the 20th century and added another bar to the cage to hold a cel phone and made a mount to hold another 12v plug and some USB charging ports.

I also installed a in cab winch control using a spare controller and wired it straight to winch.

Oh, and I said I got distracted..... I found a fire sale on a Honda Foreman 500 in Yorktown Saturday. I had to drop what I was doing and go grab it! Today Betsy helped peel the Line-X off some of the body panels!

The lift kit and hoopty wheels will come off too. Already removed the Boom Tube speaker set up.
