View attachment 3596713This is awesome! Too bad I don't need anything from them at the moment but I am sure there are other club members that do.
@matzell or others are better suited to answer this than me but I tend to go the FSM route. While I'm waiting for my new diff housing gaskets, I have a question, FSM uses just the paper gasket, every video I have watched they use the paper gasket and sealant. What is yall's opinion?
I have done just paper, a few dabs of rtv to hold the paper in place and all rtv. They all work. Paper is easier to remove later and seals better if you have any oil residue on the parts, can also retorque if the bolts get loose and it usually seals back. I would use paper and a little rtv if you have to, to hold it in place. The gaskets are not always flat. While I'm waiting for my new diff housing gaskets, I have a question, FSM uses just the paper gasket, every video I have watched they use the paper gasket and sealant. Oh, and I said I got distracted..... I found a fire sale on a Honda Foreman 500 in Yorktown Saturday. I had to drop what I was doing and go grab it! Today Betsy helped peel the Line-X off some of the body panels!
The lift kit and hoopty wheels will come off too. Already removed the Boom Tube speaker set up.
