Hello Everyone:
Wanting to know if any suggestions for aftermarket product for thigh support? I am new to LC ownership, took a 400 mile trip couple of weeks ago and felt that it would be nice to add thigh support for more relaxing drive. Any suggestions? Would appreciate your help as I am planning on another 1000 mile trip this coming week. Thank you.

This is ‘t an add-on product solution… just a suggestion in case you haven’t tried this particular setting combo:

—In combo with the obvious raising of the thigh support to its highest (you’ve surely done that, of course…)
…also adjust the rear seat height to its lowest position. This will create a dramatically-sharper upward angle for thigh support. By lowering the rear, it puts more of your thigh in contact with the full seat cushion and really can deacrease the need for contact farther forward.

Other comfort thought—
I’m fairly tall, and even so, I do not have my seat position all the way rearward. You might want to do the upward tilt combo suggestion above, and then try moving forward or backward.

If the lowest height setting seems too low fir head position, consider your seat back tilt angle. Also play around with how forward or back the full seat is. **As a pretty tall guy, I’m usually surprised by how much farther forward ends up being the most comfortable. For lower back comfort, we need knees to be more bent anyway, and bent knees are also needed to take full advantage of the right-side leg pad (left of center console.

Again… this doesn’t answer your Q about additional product, but its something I think many tall people sometimes overlook (lowest rear, highest thigh, creating sharpest upward angle…and sitting close enough tgat knee-bend allows use of the side pad).

🤷🏻‍♂️

Thank you. I tried few things.. but will try to play with what you are suggesting. appreciate it.

I inquired with Desert Does It about offering some seat jackers for this very reason. I’ll let you know where that goes.

My 100‘s seats are far more comfortable than my 200. I’m typically sore after a couple hours driving.

Toyota seats in general are really disappointing in the comfort department.

Thank you, setting up the seat per your suggestion provided better setup for my legs. I drove for 400 miles, about 7 hour trip, my legs did not get as tired. Still would love to find good product for thigh support but this might just work for now. Thanks.

Great! Glad it helped.
Its a little counterintuitive, but good to hear.

Just an update: I bought this from amazon ( pic below) for thigh support. Been using it locally for few days and I feel it can be a good option for long trips. It is about $20.

At 6-1, Toyota seats are embarrassing for a $90k truck. The LX is only marginally better with the thigh extension.

Toyota should hire Volvo to design their seats.
I have heard others say this and not sure why the complaints. I am 6'2" and just finished a 11.5hr trip to Bozeman, MT with no complaints. Are you sitting too close to the wheel?

Interestingly, the photos I’ve seen of the new ”Land Cruiser“ show a thigh bolster on the driver’s seat, but none on the passenger.

No. All the way back. 34” inseam.

5'8" with 28" inseam so no issue with Thigh support in stock 2016 seats for me. I feel for you tall people.

I'm also a short man with short legs, but I find the seat bottom doesn't angle enough for my comfort even when adjusted to the max (knees up, butt down). I bought some seat jackers, but haven't gotten around to installing them yet.

Please let us know when you do install them and how those help. Thank you.
