It is good? I was on the fence on it. Need to finish A Promised Land and Midshipman Hornblower first
Emily and I both thoroughly enjoyed it. Was nice to have something we could listen enjoy together. He tends to wax philosophical a bit, and no doubt he has a "free spirit" side to him that some won't appreciate but the storytelling is awesome!

Ready Player Two.
Ready Player Two follows behind Ready Player One with a similar challenge in the virtual environment, the OASIS. Most of the criticism of the original book, RPO, was directed towards Cline's tendency to relay nostalgia ad nauseam. Unfortunately with RPT, Cline adds even more mundane details about 80's video games, TV shows, and movies that seem to drone on forever. The adventure storyline of RPO kept the book interesting and engaging while the sequel is putting me to sleep. I'm 60% through the book and I've set it down out of frustration.

I'm very interested. I don't want to give too much away for folks that are interested but the next generation of the haptic suit in RPT in the ONI immersion which involves connecting directly to the brain to record experiences as other people.

I did write a book and is available on Amazon. For every book purchased, I give away a copy to a student in NC. Check it out. Also, I have stickers that I can mail it if anyone wants one.

Not sure it’s been mentioned yet but the 7 book series by Jack Carr is one of if not the best series of books I’ve read in last 20 years. His ability to write details and create a character along with the storyline details are incredible.
First one is Terminal list and it gets significantly better with each one once you get to know the main character and his mission and identity.
**tip** don’t watch the series on Amazon. It’s not a very good adaptation of the book or some of the characters in my opinion.

+1 on these books. Agreed about the poor Prime TV adaptation. But Chris Pratt is still fun to watch if you ignore the book series. Jack lost me after a torture scenario where some stuff they mentioned drove me out with how bad it was described (not gory - but how unlikely the scenario would have played out vs what Jack Carr wrote). That unfortunately ruined it for me and I haven't been back.
