Hey folks,

I see a bunch of how much is worth on the front page here. Thoughts I'd throw my hat in the ring although not strictly tech.

I've got a pair of front seats with the leather in good condition; no hint of tearing; some tertiary wear; otherwise clean . All power works. I'm swapping for Land Rover seats. I know guys pay $200+ for seat covers...

What's a decent pair of seats worth?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

I was fortunate to pay $20 bucks for two seats. The leather is in better shape than my torn and worn seats. All the motors work. I plan on swapping bits and pieces between the seats as needed. Probably not the answer you were looking for since you are the seller.

As much as someone is willing to pay for them. Really its up to you on how much you want to list them for. I would start out at a number that you feel comfortable with and if they dont sell they might be too high. I would shop around in classifieds and see what others have listed and sold for and price accordingly. I am just happy I have cloth seats.

someone local will probably really, really go for these, unfortunately shipping a seat sized item is kinda a deal breaker.... sigh.....says the guy who could really use a drivers front seat.................

Not sure about leather, but CruiserYard has a set of decent looking cloth seats(all of them including the jump seats in the way back) for a bit north of $900 plus shipping. If your leather really is in good shape, I don't think I would be too ashamed to offer them for around that, especially if you are in no rush. I would take some really good pics though and be up front about any blemishes that they might have since any buyer willing to spend that kind of money will likely want to feel like they know what they are getting.

If you figure a decent set of new leathers will cost you about $700 for a pair, having the other seats for another $200 doesn't seem that bad to me. As @96Cruiser says, shipping might be a deal breaker for some. That said, I looked into using Fastenal as a shipper and they had very reasonable rates from store to store via palletized loads compared to other shipping options. That might help take away some of the sting on shipping.
