now in kuwait we have new 2010 land cruiser 70 series with new engine v6 4000 cc vvt-i 239 hp , and new Internal with air bag
... what a bout other country ???

If the engine is a gasser, then it sounds like the engine that Mr. T has been using in the T120 platform here in North America.

Same engine the Prados and Hiluxes have in oz.

cheers mate thats one ? off my list
those petrol prados and lux's hammer iwonder if aus will get them? in our new 7x series

Those Land Cruisers was also launched here in South Africa in mid Sept. Interior totally different with airbags. The new V6 4.0 has a bit more Kw but a bit less Nm than the previous 4.5 Efi I6.

These latest shortys are the ultimate rig
it would be nice to see one with a whole in the bonnet/hood.......aka turbo v8 ;)

Not sure if we'd ever get another 7* series with a petrol motor. Styleside trays aren't even an option anymore either.

I dont think so,but you never know. Once upon a time petrol landcruisers outsold the diesels, but as diesels got better and fuel got dearer, the petrol sales dwindled away to nothing.

My brother towed his van to Broome with a 2003 V6 Prado and it cost something like $700 in petrol:eek:

Easier for Toyota to sell one engine in the 70 series line up.

I actually seen a brand new 79 last week with a tubs style side tray on it ,and have only seen two round headlight 79's in perth with them on, and there was a east states new 79 with a tub a bit back but they could have had them from earlia 79s i guess

He didnt have to,he rolled it on a bend outside of Bundaberg and it caught fire. They were ok and insurance covered the lot.

Well if you can get a styleside on a new 70, Toyota certainly don't like to advertise the fact. They look cool and part of me wants one, but they just aren't practical.

i hope to find bonnet with whole like aus style , but in aus you need a whole for the turbo cooler but our gasoline engine with out turbo cooler , but aus style is the best

next question....
The 79 series having a longer cab as well as chassis than the 75 series does that mean the 79 tub is a bit longer or do they equal out to be the same length
