I can't mod a forum without the right rig right? Just picked up a 2021 Luxury with 35 miles today.

LOVE the red interior!!! 😍

Going to be a DD until I get the 470 done then I will build it for overland and trailer towing. Mild wheeler with 35s max.

The red is VERY RED in direct sunlight but is actually quite a muted cabernet that is quite a deep red. I'll take some better pics later today

Looking forward to seeing how you're going to stuff 35's under there! I'm running 285/75R17 which round out to about 33.8" O.D. I don't think I could go much larger and still get full articulation, even with all my suspension mods and BMC.

Congrats on the new rig, I am definitely jealous of those headlights and those all red sport tail lights haha. You need to update your signature now. 35's are huge on this platform but I would love to run them one day if it's possible without fiberglass fenders and lack of travel.

If I was picking up a 460 today I would be getting the red interior too.

Saddle Tan in other markets would be up there but not available in North America

We had the brown leather in our 2016 Limited 4Runner, they called it Redwood back then. We absolutely loved that color and wished they still offered it in the US market when we got our LX570. If the misses gets her way we might end up with it in a 2021 Land Cruiser, I guess my new Super Duty will just have to wait a few more years :(.

Get that 2021 while you can as LC disappears from market after 2021. It sounds like 300 series will be Lexus only.

Well the plan was to move away from the 200 series and I was going to get my new F-250 or F-350 next summer. But the misses claims she'd like the LC instead of the LX because it's sportier, I can't make this stuff up, she drives me nuts lol. So if that is in fact what we end up doing, then we will likely pick up a 2020 or 2021 in white next summer or fall. I'd have a hard time not modifying it right away but it'd likely just get a set of AT's on the stock wheels for the first few years. My truck will have to wait a few more years in that scenario but the all new Super Duty should be out in 2022 so I'd be ready to snag one in 2023 for the second year model.

sig updated!

I will fit 35s with no problem. I have 35s on the 470 as well (going to 37s). Will get it done.

Just keep in mind as the tire size increases, so do the load on your axles along with increased stopping distances. Larger diameter tires adds an awful lot of torque to the brakes when you consider just how much farther the leverage is on a 35" or 37" than the stock 29" (or whatever the stock O.D. is.
I know when I added 37" tires to my F350 crewcab overlander, and 35" to my 100 series Landcruiser, stopping distances diminished.

Don't worry about me. I have been doing this a looooong time. I have answers for questions people haven't asked yet. :P (photo is my rear brake solution on the 470 to prep for towing and 35s going to 37s. Wilwood on the front too). I can cover whatever it takes to build what I want.

Holy cow Batman! Those are some massive brakes!! I see you won't be having any issues with stopping! ABS still in tact?

Yeah, those are on the 470. Works with ATRAC, ABS, etc. 100% good. Wilwoods up front too.

Are those Wilwood calipers direct bolt on, or do you need some sort of adapter bracket? Those are so pretty! I hope you've posted more pictures in the GX470 forum!
