hi everyone! I'm more to the east of you guys, over in Blackfoot.

Name is Cameron, had an 06 Tacoma for a lot of years until I pulled my head out and needed better space for the kiddos. So I got the Ugly cruiser! It fits the kids, it fits the dogs, and if sill even off-road better once I'm done

If you guys don't mind pulling in the whole state, I'll play. I'm in Victor, on the Wyoming border. I've got a 73 I bought in college and decided to swap in a 350/sm465, so I could get rid of the unsynched 1st. It sat for to many years, but I'm on a good clip now. Drove it a good 100 yards the other day. That is progress to me... I'm still smiling, first time the truck moved on its own power in 15 years.

That is a great feeling, getting a project running again. Congrats. I hope to make it over to your end of the stat to do some mtn. biking someday, probably not this year though. Maybe some boarding this winter.

Went back to our favorite Hot Springs for a last Oct camp out. Great spot and we had the place to ourselves excepts for some day trippers.
We got in later in the day, set up camp and hit the hot springs with some drinks on hand!

Yo ... just got back into FJ40 world a few weeks ago with purchase of a stock 1978. Grew up camping/travelling in a 1972 (dad bought in 12/71) across Europe, Turkey, etc as a military brat ... I had to sell in 2000 after move to Boise area. Glad to finally be back.

Not new to the forum, not new to Land Cruisers but I am new to the Boise area.

Over the years I have had a slew of Cruisers. First one that got it all started was back in 1991, an 87 FJ60 with 40,000 mikes on it. Had many since including several I have driven far outside the USA on adventures. I also spent a lot of years with old Nissan Patrols.

I am in Garden City, been here since mid-September. I got a couple Cruisers right now I found while hunting for Cruisers in Latin America. An 84 HJ47 and a 1990 PZJ70. I pretty much do all my own work and am happy to lend a hand wrenching on Cruisers. Done a lot of builds over the years including an FJ142! ;)

Always up for chatting Cruisers or sharing a few beers anytime! I will be bouncing back and forth between the USA and Latin America hunting for Cruisers but have landed here and decided Boise makes a good home base when in the USA.

Cheers,
Ian

Hey Ian, I might take you up on any wrenching you may want to do ... not much experience on my end turning, but this time around I want to try and do most myself ... tackling an OME lift here in a couple weeks (enlisting my daughters boy friend for labor) .. any advice is sure welcome (and too have been know to toss a few down). I'm just up the road above Eagle.

Sure you bet! We should be able to get the lift installed in a day.

I will pm you my phone number.

Cheers
