no clue...Needing to Search...in the middle of power steering rebuild.
I know the Search function is not yet working...and I know you know it's not yet working....but...do you have any 'idea' when it might be back up ??
Thanks, John
usergroup permissions...still learning themman it looks great, wonderful upgrade. Fully understand the issues of a SW switch.
I used to be able to edit my old posts. On my build thread, post #1 was my History, Current Status and plan of record. Hope the editing ability can be turned back on at some point, so I can add build updates, etc.
thanks

Looks good woody! One thing I cant seem to find, is there a way to change the # of posts viewed on the screen for a thread? IIRC, it was 20 by default, and I had mine set to 50. I cant seem to find this in the preferences section.
Hey I see the update has made a few things look kinda cool, but I hate to be the dick here on this, but, I'm gonna say it anyway. : I had no problems what so ever with the way the forum functioned before. And I actually thought that it was layed out well, and functioned perfectly. I loved the search function as some forums don't have that readily accessible. I'm not trying to knock your hard work (as I'm sure you or others put lots of hard work into the forum remodel), and I definitely appreciate this forum and what it provides.
I just hope you didn't fix something that wasn't broke (I know we like to do that with our cruisers)!
One other thing I'd like to mention is please keep the ads down. I know you already mentioned that the ads are currently not what they should be. But please, some sites I have stopped visiting because the ads clogged up too much space.
Thanks, Happy cruising!
