Welcome!!! I also got a new (but left over) 2018 in February, but not a birthday present. :-) I love the white, but opted for a darker color because I have had a white vehicle for so many years. I also have the terra interior, it's so nice! There are quite a few LC200 owners in CO, seems like the perfect environment for these rigs! Very nice to meet you and hope you are doing well in the blizzard and you see signs of Spring soon!

Good morning, Another new member here. I joined a couple months back when I was in research mode. I knew I wanted a Land Cruiser, but wasn't sure which series or year. I love the look of the older models so I was all over the place until I started reading here, which helped me to identify my specific needs / future needs. This place is amazing and I felt I made a very informed decision when I purchased my '18 LC 200 in February (birthday present) White with Terra and no DVD. but has remote start! I found it new at local dealership. I plan on the usual mods to allow me access to all the trails I have enjoyed in the Rockies the past 27 years. I started with tinting the front windows to match the rest of the factory tint, clear bra in all the right places, then to Slee for sliders. I will be tackling suspension and wheel / tire combo here shortly. I'll try to contribute as best as I can when I can. Here is a quick pic...Had our blizzard last night. Thank you.

Thank you sir. Most of the snow has already melted. Like the saying goes: "if you dont like the weather in Colorado...wait a few minutes"
I'm glad to be in a SUV again. I too saw no reason to purchase a '19 for additional $ when the '18 had everything on it. Can not wait for the hills to dry out!

So the wife and I signed the paperwork. It was light parting the red sea at the dealership. Ha...the dealership manager shaking my hand, kissing my butt the whole time I was there. First thing I asked him was put the truck on jack stands so I can get the wheels powdercoated. Haha...so there's a brand new LC sitting on jackstands. Only reason I asked because I have no room in the garage. I have to stick the 08 in storage until my brother makes room in his garage.

Greetings! New member and excited, brand spanking new 200 owner. Upgraded my old trusty 2010 Tacoma for something even more trusty. Love it! Learned a lot from the forums already, and looking forward to making my LC more our own through your collective advice and experience on tips and upgrades. As if you haven’t seen a mag gray 200 before, here’s my new baby...

Hey Powder what tire size did you go with on your duratracs? Debating between KO2s or Nitto Grappler G2s.

Hi TA22Husker, thanks for the response. They’re 285/65/18 just a little bigger than stock. The parts guy at the dealer rcommended them based on my heavy snow and mud needs, and reasonably low mileage driving. Funny as I was gonna put Duratracs on my Tacoma, and my wife said “no, you need a new truck”. Haha.

Owned our LC for a week and haven't even driven it yet. Wheels just came back from powdercoating. Suppose to get it back today.

Just registered on here last week. Just purchased a 2018 LC. From CO but currently in TX.

Wow! Please post the final pics when it comes together. Did you do the wheels in magnetic grey powder coat, too?

No just gloss black. Wife liked black wheels on our 4Rnr so she wanted black wheels on the LC.

I’m glad I’m not the only one here who has to take in the wife’s opinion.

I guess I could ignore but I never mastered the one eye open while sleeping technique. I will post the finished product this week. Getting the windows tinted the clear bra on the front.

Just got her...dropped her off with my at my wife's work so she could drive it home. The 08 is what she's giving up. Upgrade from a 4.7L to the mighty 5.7. So my wife now officially has a 5.0 V8 Lexus and 5.7L while my vehicles consist of a 4.0L SC 4Rnr and NA 1.8L I4 74 Celica GT.

Congratulations! Such a beautiful LC200 - really love the black wheels on the magnetic grey.! Also, I liked that you put the white writing outward on the KO2s.... I opted for white inside because I had it out on my last rover and it was so hard to keep it looking good. Great challenge! :)

Did it for all my vehicles...hate to see the white fade but love the look. Reminds me of the old tonka trucks.

Hello, new here.
Same username on other forums; falfiles, ar15.com, and others.
We just purchased a 2018 LC with 63 miles on it.
Wish I would have come here and studied first.
I liked the Sequoia, wife liked the LC.
We looked at LX, GX but did not like the new grilles, saw a 2015 LX with grill we liked but it sold too quick.
Looked at a couple LC on local lots few weeks back then recently saw the 2018 for $78k and talked them down $2k.
Nice vehicle but no real storage areas.
I look Forward to learning more about them. Thanks, mp

Welcome! :-) I also picked up a left over 2018 LC200 and got a great deal. I think the deals depend on the market, where I live the dealership just could not sell it, so I actually got it for just below $70K. Everyone says I got an amazing deal, but I did give up 2 vehicles on deposit (I got the money back) at other dealerships before I got the deal. Funny, I think mine had around 60 something miles on it too!

Love the silver LC. Damn man that dealership should've done better than 2k off the price. Got a 2019 with 10k off the price no trade in...which included the DVD player. But as long as you love the vehicle that's all that counts. My wife loves hers...makes me want to sell my 4Rnr for one.

Hello everyone, and hope you all doing well, and hoping I am posting this in the right place.

I am in need of your help, and I am working on a project and would greatly appreciate your help.

The Land Cruiser 200 Series has a very heavy duty steering rack system since it has 3 mounting points and it is a much heavier vehicle and it would need to handle much greater PUSH/PULL forces, and I would like to know what are the distance between the “2 MAIN BARREL MOUNTS” the Toyota part number for the steering is 44200-60170, The part number will fit the LC 200 from 2008 to 2018 it is very important if of your vehicle falls within those years I would greatly appreciate if you can measure from the center of each bolt and that would give a very precise measurement.

I am keeping my fingers crossed, and if the LC 200 rack would fit my truck 2010 Fj cruiser, it would be a game changer.

Thanks in advance.
Dennis
