What's the easiest way to replace the water temp sending unit on a 3FE? I'm hoping to avoid draining the rad. Can I just disconnect the upper hose? Looks like that will help me access it as well.

You shouldn't have to disconnect anything to get the temp sensor out. Just a ratchet w/ swivel and patience. You will lose a minor amount of coolant but no big deal.

So on a 62, the temp sensor is in the rad rather than in the head on a 60?
