I'm getting a small amount of coolant on the bottom of the water pump. It looks like there is a hole in the casting... Is that an Allen head screw in there?

Does this mean a pump replacement is in my near future?

Weird. I have my junked one in my garage. I can take a look and see if it has the same marking. I'll luk.

Mine has an open hole. I had to scrub off the grim and stuck a sharp tool in to clear the edges. My guess is that its a vent. I pulled mine because I was overzealous that it or the FC were failing. Not the worst job.

That's the weep hole. A leak from that area means that the seal has failed. Coolant is now contaminating the bearing. You will need a new pump sooner than later. Don't drive it like that for any longer than you have to.

Okay... Doing the water pump doesn't look too bad. Anything else I should do while in there? Any tips or guidance?

When I did mine I did the FC and a new radiator and the split radiator mod as well among other things. I got my Aisin WP and FC from rockauto. The WP comes with a gasket, so you don't need to buy another.

I would do belts, hoses and thermostat at the same time. Don't forget that there are two thermostat gaskets, an upper and a lower. You'll have to order the upper separately.

Yup... like everyone said, that's the weep hole and an indicator that the pump needs replacement ASAP.
Since you will be removing a large portion of the front end components I would take care of other items while you are at it. Do the Fan Clutch, Thermostat, any and ALL hoses that are connected or accessible with the WP off and replace everything you can with OEM stuff.
And since you will be in there, since you will need to remove the fan shroud, do the fan shroud split mod.. will save your hands/arms in the future.

And if you didn't know like me, soapy water is your friend for the hoses. They slip right on after being dipped in some half and half soap/water. The WP hoses are the worst. GL.
