Your thread gives me hope, and a new product to try and resurrect my Capri blue 69 with. I’ve been using lacquer thinner and purple scotchbrite pads, but this citrus stripper looks much easier.

I'm the new guy, hijacking the thread, but only for this post, I promise.

I just gave Keith a deposit and I'll be the new owner of Stella. I'm going to keep the patina look and keep it mostly stock. Light off-roading and exploring, but hopefully lots of open-air driving with my wife and kids (will have to figure out how to secure them in the rear.

It's going to take a few weeks to finalize the transaction and to gain possession. But I'm now almost officially in the 2 Cruiser club.

Ara

It's true, it's paid for, and Ara now has a piece of paper. And a hauler is due any day now. MVS is real, but I've already got a replacement, Bonnie the 1962 FST.

Hopefully Ara will quickly complete all my unfinished projects on Stella, and post lots of pictures.

Took Stella for a goodbye spin. Filming while driving is fun. I am now fresh out of spring green truck, having sold the Teal Shpeal recently, both went to Mudders, which I feel real good about. Stella is going to a good home.

Now look to @Aravind Dileepan for some real progress on this rig folks. I know Stella is destined to be one fine truck again.

Blast from the past. Here she is from her CL ad a couple years ago. It seems we don't so much as own these old trucks as they own us. We are but temporary, mortal caretakers on their jouneys, which are longer than our own.

And Ara, if anything's bad on this rig, you may now officially blame 'the PO'. But I'm blaming the PO's before me!
