My new Dannmar 10,000 lb. lift is being delivered today; hope it's one of the good ones!

I have always bought and used rotary lifts, even when I was starting up my shop and didn't have a lot of money I bought the best brand. How much is your life worth? Not to mention $100k Porsche!! I used to put my crewcab dually 6 ft in the air with my 10k rotary lift. It did it with ease, although it was a bit sketchy!

10ft of crewcab dually hanging out past the rear lift arms! I put a jack stand under the rear bumper to stabilize.

what is really cool is that on an older twin post lift....you get the vehicle up in the air and locked on the high setting (mechanically), then you have a hydraulic failure.....on the lift. We got the truck off the lift (my 60) using a front end loader and a forklift (just lucky by friend has those as part of his business). I wish I had taken a picture or two....

Very similar to the lift in the picture at the top of this thread.

In our case the "lucky" part was that we had good access to the front and rear of the vehicle while it was on the lift (lift was outside on a concrete slab).

2x

I bought a used Rotary from my local ford dealer, when they moved into their new space. I then paid the local hydraulic shop who specializes lifts to put it up. It ended up costing more than a new "off brand". The money spent has been well worth the peace of mind.
