Hello everyone! I am looking at a 1973 Warn 8274 that needs a brake rebuild. The asking price is $200 with good cable on it. What do you think about that price?

So that's what 8274 means. Good to know.

i just rebuilt a 1976 8274 that I bought for 375. I put a new power pack on it: $225, new motor, new brake rebuild kit, new lower end rebuild kit, and new amsteel blue synthetic winch line. I still came in under what new 8274-50 is priced at by about $500 or so. For 200, sounds like a good price, but be prepared to put more work into it and spend a little more $$ if needed.
