Warn 8274 Teardown Issue! (1 Viewer)

Bought a Warn 8274 from 1984 cheap today. Took it home to tear it apart and cannot get the brake shafts out of the body of the winch. All the videos I've seen just say, "use a screwdriver to press it out". I cannot get it out.

Any recommendations?

Its being held in by the seal at this point. Either dig the seal out or put the brake disc back on so you have something to pry against.
