Hey Folks,

After having owned my '99 X 470 since 2003, I have finally decided to look for a low mileage 570. Besides my own research, can you all help me point in the right direction as to what model is the best to have? Currently I am looking at 2013/14 and would prefer LX over LC.

Won't mind getting feedback as to what options to look for?

If anyone has a low mileage LX 570 coming up FS, please feel free to PM me as well.

Thanks

Not sure what you're asking. Are you asking for a comparison between the options found on the LX vs LC? Or the differences between the model years of the LX?

As for options, pretty much every LX comes fully loaded. There are some minor options such as cooler in the armrest, remote start, surround view cameras, rear entertainment.

There are some minor model year differences. The 2013/14 will have the benefit of BT audio, and a newer generation NAV. Though those are again minor in my mind as both are dated and I prefer the NAV on my cell phone.

I'd look for a 13. The big changes came on the 13s (and later on the 2016s). You'd pay more for a 14 for essentially the same vehicle.

Second that. 2013.

I started looking for a 2013 LX about 6 months ago, low miles, Nebula Grey. Imagine my surprise when one popped up right here in Flagstaff!.
As far as options, ALL the LXs brought to the states have the 'luxury package'. Also, don't think I've every seen one without the Mark Levinson.

I did want the active cruise, which Lexus calls 'Dynamic Cruise Control.' The one I ended up buying didn't have it, and I do miss it on road trips. That said I got one with low miles in the color that I wanted, for well below book. The local Subaru dealer took it in on trade and believe it or not didn't know anything about it. I got first in line for it and by the time I closed the deal there were 5 more offers for it.

If you are asking whether to go LC over LX, my opinion is LX all the way. It just feels that much better, and overall market prices are pretty similar.

2013 vs 2014, both usually fully loaded, but most of the 2014s I've seen had the collision avoidance system, which I think includes Dynamic Cruise Control. That's really the only difference between the two years...or 2015 for that matter.

The usual advice, create an account on Lexus Owners Site | Lexus Drivers so you can run the VIN and see the service history.
