WANTED...the search continues Need a set (3) later model 45 tailgat hinges

I did get a set of new/aftermarket hinges, just to find that my tailgate is a later 3 hinge gate, that requires later hinges....

Are they the same as the later 4 hinge type ? I have a set of those laying around in ok condition you can have for the cost of shipping. I'm located in south east Queensland Australia, I think postage would be around $30 Aud to the States but I can check if you're interested.

say not trying to hy-jack your post but. is there a difrence in the hinges? i got 3 new hinges for my '78 bed. they bolt to the body and will bolt to the tail gate but you can't close the gate cause the hinge looks to be to short or some thing and my tail gate had 4 hinges not 3. is that the same issue you are having? if so then i also need 4 late model ('78) hinges.

to resolve this, maybe for a part time resolution, could you place a spacer plate between the lower hinge half and the body?

If the spacer place was cut the same size/shape as the lower part of the hinge, I think you would hardly notice it.

thats what i'm thinking i'm going to have to do. so now i need just one more hinge to make 4.
