OK, in my defense..... as "Denny Crane" would say on the old TV Show "Boston Legal"..... "Mad Cow".

My brain isn't what it was a year ago. Somehow I missed it. Let me try to go back and look.

As many have said, I believe the 1970 originally came with round mirrors that mounted to the door hinge with arms that were not telescopic.
OK. But mine is a 1971. Round, square, or rectangle? I'm hearing rectangle???

If you are wanting to put original then they were round. Rectangle are cool though.
OK, so the 1971 came originally with round, and everyone that has told me the 1971 mirrors were rectangle for the first year (as well as power breaks for the first year) are wrong. Correct?

Hub Set (3 closed, 2 open) $83.50
Front Bumper (Including all new OEM Bolts/Nuts/Washers) $223.58
New OEM dashboard $521.50

Can also help with new driveshafts custom built for your application, we are a Tom Woods dealer and a pair is $815.
I do have to charge 6% sales tax for Florida sales.
Is the set of 5 hub caps OEM NOS, or used, or Reproductions?

Yes I still have the mirrors. They will mount right up just like the rectangle ones. Same bolt with the acorn nut and washer like the rectangle ones. These are like new, had them on my 1966 FJ45 but went to the rectangle.

Here’s a photo of the rectangle mounted up and the round placed next to them for reference. Took the bugs off 😀

70 and 71 for sure, not sure past that.

Both have original mirrors.
This style was used from 9/67 to 8/76. This is the 68-76 models. The size of the round mirror did change size a couple of times during this period.

This is the earliest picture I have of my 9/67 68 model I purchased 7/74. This picture would from 7/75. This is the original mirror.

You should figure out how to find parts online. All this information is available for 3/69 and newer. Just be sure your looking at the North America market. Not all markets had all the same equipment.

The US market was one of a few that the soft top model had soft doors, not hard doors. These doors were easy to remove. Unbolt the door limiter, swing the door opens little more and lift the door off the tub hinge. What is interesting the soft top model used the same mirror as hard top in the US market. When.the door came off so did the side mirror.
