Wanted Choke cable for my '69 FJ40

Looking for a operational choke cable for my 1969 fj40. Need it to lbe smooth operating, no frozen ones please.

That is a solid core cable. You can pull them out, peen the kinks out on an anvil and reinstall. I gave @Rigger a demonstration at his house six years ago. I redid mine on the Karma Cruiser last year

Since I've had the vehicle the choke knob has never seated against the dash. It's always stuck out about 3/8 of an inch. When I took it out I found It was repaired by shoving the cable housing further into the housing and welding it. Well I figured since that weld hadn't broke. Maybe I could just extend the housing giving me that little bit extra that I needed to seat the knob all the way in. I machined up a collar that would fit over the enclosure for the knob and I will tack weld on each side.
