Wanted: 1/4 Ton Military Trailer (M416/M100 ETC.)

I am looking for a 1/4 ton military trailer near Portland Metro Area (Oregon). I am wanting to convert into an off road tent trailer. Looking to spend around $500 but am willing to spend if the item is desired.

I have seen a few on craigslist in the past. just never saw one when I had the $$ LOL !!

AND I am sure you know there are almost always some on evilbay.....seems as though they run in the $600-$800 range there.........but I have seen some for less.

Go to the government liquidators auction site, there is one for sale there right now with a ask bid of 150 bucks....its down in Barstow, but thats just an example. you can find some good stuff there.

There is one up here in NJ needing some TLC buy certainly viable for $350...

NOT mine...

Trailer is a stevens M416 it has 2 new shocks and one new leaf spring
(replaced do to crack in one leaf) The other spring is in good
condition. The brakes look complete except for a small adjustment knob
on top of brake handle that is missing . Condition of brakes is unknown.
No wiring or lights comes with spare wheel and tire. The bed has some
rust and will need some work. Tub is Not cut.
Price is a FIRM $350.00
Trailer is apart so you can inspect it. I will rebolt it to the frame if
you like so it can be towed. It has a current NJ registration

I have a 1 1/2 ton TRAILER MOUNTED FIELD KITCHEN it has drop down sides 4 post canopy with canvas over hang shade you could make into a great tent trailer. all of the expandable decking is already built. has burners and storage built in.
