As the question states, I would like to see only custom-made skid plates that cover the t-case area. Searched through the threads and did not find a sufficient amount of info. on this.

So, not satisfied, I would like to see what you came up with: not pre-fab, not store-bought; custom-made by you (or for you is ok too) that works well for you.

Allow me to kick it off with this one...

Poser made this one.

A very nice one indeed.

Does this count? I believe the P-PO did it...I believe it is custom as opposed to available off the shelf but who knows...

Of course it counts! It is, after all, yours. It does appear to be custom. I base my opinion on one of the thread posts by Poser, in saying that not all are the same, and that it is not a cookie-cutter design type of thing (paraphrasing loosely).

I like the design. Like Poser's, the tubular design is good for strength, and the ability to get a little slide-off on the rocks. I was thinking of something similar in design, but nowhere near as perfected as the units I see here. I think the solid plate would grab a little too much on rock.

Thanks for all the pics.

Thank you for taking time to post.

Iron Pig Off Road did my belly pan. I needed a skid plate because of the addition of the Toy box removed the crossmember and ability to use anything stock. Lance knew of the way I planned on using the 40 and wanted as full of coverage as possible. I also needed to form a track bar mount as well for the SOA that was completed. This is what IPOR came up with.

It is extreemly tight on the frame rails, smooth to not catch anyting and it is strong!! The only thing exposed is the driveshafts, nothing on the drive lie can be reached to bleed. Only the Oil pan is exposed and if I punch it with a rock I am being a little stupid or really careless.
