Installing vintage AC in 77 FJ40. Using sniper with HEI/DUI distributor with coil in cap. So i don't have the radio interference capacitor that is typically in the ignition coil assembly. I am using OEM alternator so this has one I think associated with the voltage regulator. THe installation instructions suggest that this is important to help smooth out power and prevent damage to the AC computer. Should I be adding radio interference capacitors anywhere else to account for losing the one w/ the ignition assembly? I found some AC delco units that I could add in pretty easily, but wanted to consult collective wisdom before I did that. Thanks in advance. Advice on whether this is necessary, and where to add if recommended would be appreciated.
