@ToyotaMatt

I finally was able to install the new fender wall I.D. plate, that I purchased from you, in my 1973 FJ40 .

It's positioned a little higher than original, since the original was somewhat hidden behind the battery tray.

Due to my aversion to drilling holes in painted metal, I cut the heads off the stainless steel sheet metal screws and super-glued them to the plate. I then used the 3M VHB tape to attach the plate to the fender wall.

Looks great! Thanks again for a quality product!

Hi TM, the customs guys at the Abu Dhabi border with KSA did not want to come out in the sun so they made the truck hauler rip the plates off the truck. Could you do these from Schrodinger's Truck?

I'd also need the door plate as well.
Really weird that the number stamped on the frame is not the 17 digit. Never seen that before. I think this truck came from Yemen.

They never stamped the full VIN on the frame horns as far as I know. Only the model it is and the production run #.

The number on my frame exactly matches my A pillar #, the # on the plate under hood and the # on my title listed as the VIN. I can't speak to later models, when the # was lengthened which I think had something to do with the Feds requirements.
