Installed the Strike on my '12. Strike Question - has anyone done the SSO washer bottle cover with it? Wondering if 1 banana install or gonna take some work to get it and the bumper to marry up. Or better to try a bottle relocation option

How was the quality of the bumper and seller, in terms of fit/finish, welds, packaging, lead time, communication, etc? Victory has some really nice looking front and rear bumpers for GX's and they are also relatively light and priced well (compared to a Demello). However, I read some mixed reviews from bumpers ordered in 2020/2021.

ordered it from Victory on 8/1/22 with website lead time of 60+ days. I saw on their website a couple weeks later that times were reduced down to 30 days and mine arrived 8/18/22. Mine was bare metal though. RSG here in Denver powder coated it to match their sliders. No communication during the sale or wait other than the sales confirmation email and tracking once it shipped - but I wasn't expecting any. It is a really good looking, clean bumper and totally changes the appearance. Fender liner cutting/securing is a concern with the wide open front vs. OEM as I found out on the highway the next day. And then trying to figure out how to hide/protect/relocate washer, wires, etc. like my question to start the thread.

I've been told I should add it to my bumper (MetalTech), but have never gotten round to it.
On that same note, it hasn't been an issue either. But this is relative to we go wheel'n.

I put one in mine, see here, but I see you have headlight washers? The SSO cover will only fit a reservoir with 2 pumps, and not with the third for the headlights. More discussion in the thread I linked.

The SSO washer bottle cover wont fit three pump tanks and that relocation kit wont work for three pump tanks either.

My Victory experience was rough. Perhaps due to the long wait times and low work force participation, lets just say quality wasn't the best first time around. That being said they did correct the issue and set things right, all be it over a 7 month timeline.

Thanks for the info. I think it will be down to the decision of a Victory or Demello for me - the Demello looks a bit better but is heavier and just so expensive. Good to know you received a quality product from them. I am going to DIY Raptor-line whatever bumper I get, so it will be ordered in bare steel.

Was yours a recent or older order? Was the weld/fitment quality OK?

thanks for the input. I do have headlight washers(as I drive around with my pinkies up eating my caviar) so that makes sense with the 3 pumps being an issue for the 4runner/GX SSO part. Thanks to @Washingtontaco and @re_guderian for the education and food for thought

I was one of the first GX Strike orders. Fabrication, fitment, and welding should have not been a problem for a company that has been manufacturing for years. But had major quality issues that they built and sent me a new one. That was great customer service. Unfortunately it took another 4-5 weeks.

This is one of my many winter projects to complete. Also working on a good way to mount some dust/back up lights that don't require a roof rack.
