I just replaced my pads and rear rotors w/ all new OEM parts. I have made sure that the e-brake shoes are adjusted (I did not replace these). I washed the rotors well too. The pads are in correctly and I can easly turn the rotors by hand. After driving for just a short distance the rear rotors seem to be very hot, I mean real hot compared to the front. Is this normal for awhile after new pads and rotors?

The front rotors are nearly twice the thickness as the rear and would have better cooling i expect, as they are designed to do the hard braking. If your rears are getting hot yet they spin fairly easily, I expect you can attribute it to the slight drag of the adjusted parking brake and the bedding in of the new pads, just touching that is. Although you may wish to read this thread which mentions front to rear brake pressures and possible causes of rear pads doing the work and heating up. My thoughts
