Yes, the tip is easy enough to snip off to whatever size you like. Its easy to push out the grease.

This looks like the best tool for the job.
Definitely sturdier than the cake things (but if I found one for a buck...).
Useful to have a couple around for many other "sucky" tasks too.
I have a giant metal syringe "suction gun" that has saved the day on a lot of jobs.
Very reasonably priced on ebay.

I bought a cheap continuous flow air grease gun, and removed the zerk fitting on the hose. Flows a whole cartridge out pretty quickly.

Try it with a pneumatic gear oil pump, but don’t use the regulator. 125psi will fill a diff in about 10 seconds.

Expensive though. $200 at the low end... to $2000?
Filling your Birf in 10 seconds - not recommended? ;)
 
I just switched grease brands and eliminated the need for a tool altogether. Made in USA too...

I tried similar to this but not as fast and easy as the cake bottle srienge
