I passed emissions but failed the equipment portion due to not being able to run the pressure test.

Anyone know what part this is? The white plastic piece broke off so assume I just need to replace the whole thing. The guy running the test said to just replace the evap hose but doesn’t appear that will work here.

This is a 1981

Ok looks to be the VCV correct? Can someone confirm this is what I need?

Yep, that's it. The VCV for the charcoal canister / evap system if I remember correctly.

I got the new VCV in. Anything I should be aware of for the replacement or is it just plug and play?

Thanks guys

The new (blue) VCV's are extremely plug and play. They go right in. Just note that the two ports on the black section of the new VCV are reversed from the older white version. This is mentioned on the City Racer page where it looks like you bought it from. Put a little sil-glyde on the ports before you push the hoses on so you don't break one off again in the future.
