KBB does not have a line item for rear lockers. What is the used value of this option when buying a used truck?

Air locker $750
R&R Diff $200
Install Locker $150
ARB Compressor $200

$1300 or so, but most sellers don't know what they have.

It's only valuable if you plan to use it. If the rig spends 100% of the time on pavement, they're worthless. Theoretically, you should be able to retrofit a factory rear locker into a lockerless 100. After all, the 100 is still sold in every other country w/ the rear locker option.

Agree. To most, they are useless. Even to most 100 owners on this board, they are rarely used I bet.

What was the sticker price of the optional locker. IIRC, F&R lockers on an 80 were like $800 or so.

I get really annoyed to see what you guys pay for 4x4 accessories.

ARB manufacture the diff locks in Oz, and we pay $2,500 for an air locker with compressor fitted

Oh well, can't have everything...we do have better looking women :grinpimp:

Just kidding....

yes, but are these (semi nowadays) real $$ or the funny kind? :D

On my '99, retail for rear locker option was $430.

Priceless if you want them, worthless if you don't.

I don't think it comes into play much when purchasing a used 100, either it has it or it doesn't, but doesn't influence price much.
