Any update on the terminal extensions? I will be looking to purchase some in the next couple months and I like your design.

Working on it. The problem I have always had with making those is that the buyer needs to figure out how to modify the ground cable that runs from the negative terminal to underneath the intake manifold. It currently is crimped to the battery terminal and would need to either be modified by clipping off the negative terminal post clamp or removing it completely and crimping on a new ring terminal.
And not to sound like an idiot, but what does higher battery voltage net you?Typically, these upgrades replace aged, corroded connection which will result in more consistent battery voltage. Current flows along the outside of a conductor, so any corrosion will effect the ability for current to flow efficiently. The cable I use is tinned coated and is very corrosion resistant. I also use adhesive lined heatshrink to seal the connection between the lug and wire.
whats the benefits of these kits?
It should provide a better optimized electrical pathway, allowing your system (charging and grounding) to function at full potential. The corrosion-free, thicker gauge cables helps minimize signal loss. Corroded terminals (plus thinner gauge wire) increase electrical resistance, potentially starving downstream devices of adequate power. And not to sound like an idiot, but what does higher battery voltage net you?
Great info thanks guys.It should provide a better optimized electrical pathway, allowing your system (charging and grounding) to function at full potential. You'd definitely notice the benefit when adding a car stereo amplifier, but you might also find your vehicle performing better too. ...especially so if your OEM cables/terminals are super old and crusty.
Not a direct comparison for the 100 series, but I built a set of thicker gauge cables for a 2007 WRX. The engine performed noticeably better after install. I'm unsure if it was a hotter spark, more juice for the fuel pump, or ???, but the car really flew after the upgraded cables were added. The upgrade was done for stereo/amp reasons, but there was a profound and unexpected performance bump too. YMMV
Right one...... On the firewall cable, I wasn't sure if grounding to the intake manifold like that is logical. Is it aluminum, does it provide a ground....IDK. I'm going to poke it later with a multimeter and see if there is continuity to ground. That routing works! Looks good!
Yes, I still make them. I'll message you!Are these still being sold? Do you have a link to a webstore or do you take payment via Venmo / Paypal?
