UZJ100 ABS Module fault (1 Viewer)

I am helping a good mate, who has an 05 UZJ with 2UZ-FE engine, that was making odd noises in the Brake Master Cylinder system. Brakes were still working well, but he asked me to check it, seeing I was doing other work on the vehicle. I pulled the system from the vehicle & disassembled what I could. I found the commutator on the pump motor was extremely worn & it was full of hard oily lumps. So obviously the oil seal between the motor & the pump is leaking, so we've ordered a new motor. However, I also found an apparent short in the ABS Module, that had melted the plastic in the surrounding area of the cover , that carries all the electronics for the unit. Apparently, the dear people at Toyota, don't make a replacement part for this, so I'm going to see an auto electrician tomorrow, to see if he can perform a miracle. I will keep you informed at to the outcome.
