Uwharrie Day Trip November 9th For Nathan's Birthday - Join Us!

I can't believe the boy is turning 14! In true cruiserhead fashion, Nathan has requested a day on the trails as his birthday present. What kind of dad would I be not to grant that wish? I will have at least three kids and six RC cars in tow. Not sure what we will drive. 80? 60? We will see. We plan to run mostly easy trails. Nathan does want to go up the back of Daniel and spend some time on the rock garden driving his RC cars. Mike Jones @crawlfish and his son (and Nathan's buddy) Jack will be with us in their LX470. If anyone wants to roll the trails with us, meet us at the Outpost at 9:00 a.m. Saturday November 9th. Hopefully the weather will cooperate. Either way, we will have some fun!

My brother (@Hokierig) is in town this weekend and we are thinking of making a day trip to Uwharrie in my 100 series on saturday. Will be my first time down there.

Is there a lunch plan or general timeline for your visit so we can tag along? Or is it more of just a day of running a few trails and hanging out?

The loose plan is to meet up at 9, run some trails, eat lunch at the Outpost and go back and run some more trails. No definite time for lunch. We will just be winging it. You are welcome to join us. The more, the merrier!
