As most of you know, Rick, Cat and Dave made the drive out to Ouray, CO for the first National FJ Cruiser Summit. I was lucky enough to arrange my vacation to detour to Ouray for 2 days, even though I didn't have my truck. Taylor and I were joined by our friends Chris and Pete who had never been offroad before.
When we got into Ouray and registered, we met up with the folks from the Central and West Trail Team. Well, they needed an extra trail lead for the next day and asked me if I would do it. Well, I told them I would be happy to do it, but I didn't have a truck with me since I flew out. So they gave me one of their trucks to drive!!!!!
So I thought I'd be hanging out in the backs of FJ's and it turns out I did get to lead a trail ride over Imogene Pass and Ophir Pass!!!
